Artist Profile: T San Bruno
Recording Artist: T San Bruno
I am 35 years old, and I have been playing music since I was 7 years old when my Mom made me take piano lessons. I was born in San Francisco CA, and raised in San Bruno CA. I love the Bay Area. I have been in many Pop Punk, Country, and Metal bands. My first instrument was piano, but I played guitar, bass, drums, and sang lead vocals in many failed bands. I have always loved Rap & Hip Hop since I was a kid. I grew up listening to Mac Dre, Andre Nikatina, Ice Cube, and Snoop Dog. I heard Juice WRLD in the summer of 2018 while visiting Italy, and fell in love with every Juice WRLD song. My 2 tracks were recorded in 2020 in San Mateo CA, and are heavily influenced by Juice WRLD. RIP to Juice WRLD. My music are heartbreak ballads, and I consider my songs Emo Rap. I love all music, and I don’t hate on any style, or genre of music. Each song I make is like a gem to me, and I want the production, and sound to be beautiful. I don’t cuss, or say bad words in any of my songs. I put a lot of time into my music. My music is also inspired by Italian Rap & Hip Hop. I have been to Italy many times, and it is a great Country to visit.
What inspired your new song?
I am heavily inspired by Italian language Rap & Hip Hop. This song is in the Italian language. The female who broke up with me, and inspired the words in this song, is Italian, and she speaks Italian. I attemped to learn to speak Italian, and in the process that female broke up with me. I wanted to do a Italian language song like the Italian artist Fred De Palma, and put my emotions in Italian. Getting dumped by a beautiful & smart female also inspired me to write this release.
Describe your writing process?
The writing process consisted of me writing the lyrics in English, and then using my phone, and dictionary to translate the words to Italian. The recording process took about four, 8 hour sessions becasue I wanted the song to be like I heard it in my head. Also, COVID-19/Coronavirus hit towards the end of the recording process, so that slowed down the finished product, but we still GOT IT DONE! It was crazy when I couldn’t go into the studio in San Mateo, CA because of COVID-19.
Do you have a video?
Yes, I do plan to release a video for this song, but that will not be until mid 2021. I have an idea, and I have directed, and been in a few music videos. Looking forward to creating, and having a big release for the video.
How do you stand out as an artist?
I am just starting to dive into the Emo Rap genre. I brand myself to stand out from other artists out there by sounding depressed/emo, and I sing in my songs. I also brand myself as having an intimidating physical appearance, like you don’t want to mess with me, or my girlfriends. My music brand stands out from the rest of the artists becasue I “over produce” my songs, and want them to sound beautiful to anyone’s ear. I don’t cuss, or say bad words in my songs. My sound, and lyrics will make anyone listening think about their lives. I don’t release trash/garbage tracks that sound terrible. I know my tracks hit, and are produced, mixed, and mastered well.

What gets you up in the morning?
I swear I am a Real Rstate Agent in California, and that thankfully gets me out of bed every morning. I have been an agent for 4 years, and 3 months. I also love my Family, and love spending time with them. I also enjoy taking my dog on long “beast” walks.
What’s next for you?
What’s next in my world is getting back into the studio, and recording this new heartbreak ballad I have written, and ready to go. I will use SupremePR/The Supreme Team to help me get it out there. SupremePR does a great job, and I appreciate their motivation. I am just getting through this COVID-19 pandemic, and continue to create, release, and promote my Emo Rap songs.
